Grays Thurrock Model Boat Club

The club meet on Sundays in Belhus Country Park at the main public lake, usually from 9.00am until 4.00pm, although soon after midday some have retired to the park cafe for tea and cakes.  All types of boats can be used with the exception of i/c models.

DIAL has a help desk here at The Forum on Thursdays from 10.00am to 1.00pm.  Although it is not necessary to make an appointment, if you need help filling out a form, they do advise that you phone them in advance as these can sometimes take a couple of hours to complete.

Special Needs Activity Club (SNAC)

Special Needs Activity Club"We run a programme of activities throughout the year, but mainly in school holiday periods for adults and children (ages 5-40 years+) We also run a weekly youth club. These activities are designed to be accessible to children with special needs but are open to all members, regardless of ability. Our main activities are sports at Grangewaters and some Thurrock Schools, youth club sessions at Treetops School and social events for families. Our membership area is Thurrock and Basildon."

Thurrock Racial Unity Support Taskgroup (TRUST)

TRUST"TRUST works towards strengthening existing BME organisations and assits new groups, supports initiatives and develops projects. We encourage involvement and participation of all individuals from BME communities. We organise events, seminars, training and information services. TRUST also provides outreach points at various locations and computers at our office. We offer a free meeting room during office hours for up to six people and access to colour printer facilities."
