What’s on at The Forum
The Forum is a busy drop-in information and advice centre in the heart of South Ockendon, regularly accessed by members of the public to use the services we have on offer. On a day-to-day basis, we deal will a broad range of enquiries so if there's anything you need to know, then pop in and see us. If we can't help you there and then, we generally know someone who can.
The Forum is open Monday to Friday from 10.00am until 4.00pm and then on Saturdays from 09.30am until 12.00pm (from February 4th 2012)
SOCF members use the premises for meetings and social activities and our partner agencies also provide outreach surgeries and help desks.

13.30 - 15.30 General Forum Meeting (first Monday of month)
13.30 - 15.00 Wool and the Gang (group who knit/sew items for worthy causes)
Tuesday
9.30 - 11.00 Credit Union Desk
10.00 - 13.00 Citizen's Advice Bureau (no appointment necessary)
13.30 - 16.00 Top Club (social group)
13.45 - 16.00 Citizen's Advice Bureau (drop-in every third Tuesday - tel 01708 852530 for dates)
Wednesday
10.00 - 13.00 Stop Smoking Service (appointment only - tel 01708 852530)
10.00 - 16.00 Next Step (careers advice, help with CVs, etc for 19+ - appointments only 01708 852530)
13.30 - 15.00 Braingames (social group playing board games, dominos, etc)
Thursday
10.30 - 12.30 Basildon & Thurrock Independent Advocacy Service (BATIAS) (support for adults with learning difficulties)
10.00 - 13.00 Disability Information & Advice Line (DIAL) (no further sessions until 15th March 2012)
1pm - 3pm Age Concern Thurrock Lunch Club (for those over 60s who would normally dine alone - Need to book up beforehand)
Friday
10.00 - 12.00 Age Concern Thurrock (information & advice for the older person and/or carers)
Saturday
9.30 -11.00 Credit Union Desk
10.00 - 12.00 Councillors (Labour) (third Saturday of the month)
Councillors (Conservative) (appointment only - first Saturday of the month)

15.00 - 18.00 Essex Section of the British Koi-Keepers Society (second Sunday of the month)
